Mother gave birth with the help of her 2-year-old son

According to gnn.com, when Bobbye Favazza went into labor at home, she called her mother saying she felt the baby coming. She had been expecting to deliver via cesarean section a few weeks later, which is why she was caught off guard.

Her mother immediately called the paramedics, and while Favazza was waiting for them to arrive, she found that she had a very good chance of giving birth in her own home. In what proved to be an inspirational story, her 2-year-old son Jeremiha helped deliver the baby.

While Favazza was in labor, her 3-year-old son cried because he didn't know what was going on, but 2-year-old Jeremiha calmly went and got his mother a towel.

But Jeremiha's assistance didn't stop there; he stayed with his mother and was there when his brother was born.

"It happened so fast," Favazza told commercialappeal.com. "My water broke and the baby came two to three minutes later. I just pushed and [Jeremiha] caught him."

The proud mother noted that the new big brother is her "little hero."
