After working at some of the world's top hotels, Chef Roland Mesnier landed a sweet position in the White House back in 1979: Executive Pastry Chef.

For the next 25 years, he served several presidents his delicious creations.

Roland's first bosses at the White House were President and Mrs. Carter. You can find President Carter's favorite Silky Chocolate Cream Pie in Roland's book, All the Presidents' Pastries.
