Why I Joined: The New Healthy You community is a great place to exchange ideas on ways I can reach my goals: to continue not to smoke, to get fit and become more health-conscious.
My Goal: I’d like to lose weight and make exercise a bigger part of my regular routine, but most importantly I want to kick my smoking habit! I quit almost two months ago, after smoking on and off for nearly 28 years.
My Challenge: Between work and taking care of my family, I never seem to be able to find time to exercise or to plan out my meals for the week, which is a really important part of staying healthy.
A Word from the Wise: Setting small, incremental goals rather than one big one has helped me a lot. Each time I reach a small goal, I feel a sense of achievement and am proud of what I’ve accomplished. That in turn motivates me to set another goal!

CONGRATS on quitting
CONGRATS on quitting smoking!!! That is awesome.
Good plan to set small incremental goals instead of one big one. You have to have reasons to reward yourself along the way, or the whole thing will seem like too much to handle and you'll get off-track. Small goals are a great source of motivation! :)
