I knew I'd stumbled on something special when I spotted this majestic angel in my neighborhood pharmacy. It wasn't her wildly colored robes or the enormous wings that caught my eye. It was the harp, and the fact that her right hand seemed to be broken off.
The clerk said she'd tried several times to glue it back on, but the hand always fell off again. "She is what she is," the clerk said, "but who's going to want a broken angel?"
Hmmm. I took another long look at her and considered how difficult and uncomfortable it must be, holding up that heavy harp with only one hand. I thought of my own challenges—the life-threatening illness I had survived, and the chronic condition I struggled with every day. There were times when it was hard to keep going. But somehow, just like this angel, I managed.
"I'll take her," I told the clerk. "I think she's perfect just like she is." Now she has a special place in my curio cabinet, inspiring me on tough days not to feel broken, but strong.

Recently one morning during
Recently one morning during my prayer and meditation time I asked the question "What do you wish me to know for my next level of healing? I sat quiet and listened...Rebecca "Becky" Lang. So I googled the name and got this page which is significant for a number of reasons...primarily I just attended the divine feminine conference and heard Margaret Starbird speak about the statues of Mary Magdalene with her missing hand, which spoke to her of Mary being cut off. Mary wears red and green robes and has long red hair. Mother Mary wears blue. This angel brings the Mary's together.
Blessings, Christy
