30 Rock Star Gives Back
Alec Baldwin announces a $1 million donation to his alma mater.
Baldwin recently donated $1 million to go towards students' tuition for Tisch
In an effort to pay back an institution that perhaps helped him become one of the most prominent stars in movies and television today, Alec Baldwin recently announced a $1 million donation to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, according to New York Magazine.
The 30 Rock star graduated from the institution in 1994, after he had already begun to make a name for himself in movies.
The money will be used towards the Alec Baldwin Drama Scholarship Fund, which will help students afford tuition who are interested in the arts.
Baldwin made it a point to release a statement, in hopes of inspiring people to pay back the schools that have helped them find success.
"The support I got from Tisch made it possible for me to become an actor and to have a career in this business," Baldwin said in the release.
"It's important to give back to those institutions that give us such opportunities, and I encourage anyone to look into supporting their alma mater."

That is great for him to do that.I only wish I had help like that my kids and I don't have anyone to help us and if anyone read this please someone help my family and I we need it real bad and it almost christmas.
