Contest Guidelines

Written by people from all walks of life, Guideposts articles offer tested methods for developing courage, strength and positive attitudes. They help readers achieve their maximum personal and spiritual potential. Mysterious Ways articles, in particular, describe spine-tingling, goose-bump experiences that remind us that we live in a world that can sometimes leave us speechless, awe-filled, comforted and at peace

Your entry must be an original, unpublished, true Mysterious Ways story told in 750 words or less, typed double-spaced and submitted either online or through the mail. This contest is ongoing and so no deadlines apply.

We encourage and highly recommend that entrants study the magazine and website before submitting a story.

Ways to Enter:

*Manuscripts sent by mail must be accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Please remember that all entries require your email address and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day.

Selected writers will be notified by email, phone or post depending on the media in which they submitted their story. We only acknowledge winners' entries. Writers who have attended previous Guideposts workshops are not eligible. Guideposts.com retains exclusive rights to all stories published both online and in the magazine.
