Wasn't sure if this was a good place to post this, but since it has to do with saving money, I figured it belonged in this topic. :-) Is anybody else growing a garden this year to help save money on fresh produce? My husband and I have been doing this for the last couple years or so, but this year with the economy the way it is it seems especially important. We are doing tomatoes, peppers, and a lot of herbs (basil's my favorite). And strawberries! We have a huge strawberry patch. So, just wondering if there's anyone else out there who posts to this site who's doing this!
Yes, you're right about that!!! even cooked, you can tell the difference. I love eating pasta with tomato sauce that i just made. :)
