Hi, a friend of my family is recovering from having to have his leg amputated due to a circulatory illness. My husband and I have been to visit him but we are kind of at a loss as to what to do other than just be there and be supportive. The other day when we were chatting he expressed an interest in finding a church (this shocked me, since he's never been religious at all). I admit I didn't really know what to say! Any suggestions would be appreciated -- want to be supportive and "welcoming" but low-pressure at the same time.
Please pray for his continued recovery, and that on the subject of religion God will give us the right words at the right time. Thanks.
I will be in prayer. I would suggest getting him a bible and sharing the steps to salvation with him . then ask him to read the book of John. let me know if I can help??
