I have successfully gotten myself into a new workout routine over the past few weeks and wanted to share it with other club members.
With the start of spring this year, I was extremely motivated to get active. And getting active is easy when the sun is shining outside! I started going for a 20-minute walk each morning before work. But one morning my walking came to a startling hault--it was raining outside.
I didn't want the weather to keep me from being active or to hinder my plans on losing weight. So I went to Border's bookstore in hopes of finding something to fix my dillema. I came across Leslie Sansone's "5 Day-Fit Walk". It is a dvd of 5 walking workouts that all can be done in the comfort of your home.
This dvd has been a steady part of my life for the past month. I love it because it has a different workout for each day (5 total workouts), so I never get bored. The workouts are fun, give me a ton of energy and are great for any fitness level. Best of all, the weather doesn't get in the way!
I also have one of the Walk Away The Pounds DVD, I also use my Wii Fit I have several games for it the one that comes with the board then I have Jillian Michales Fitness Ultimatum and then I have Golds Gym Cardio! I want the new one thats out too o hand the My Fitness Coach.
I have done Leslie Sansone's workouts, when they appear on my Comcast On Demand in the "Exercise TV" section. A basic walking, and a walking "enhanced" one where you use weights. They're so easy to follow, yet so effective! I'll have to check out that DVD...thanks for the suggestion!
Wow Lori! You have quite a collection! I think thats great- I find variety always keeps workouts more exciting. I tend to get bored easily but having a different video or workout everyday makes working out less daunting.
