Do You Have a Vision for the Future?

One of the most amazing parts of Christy Whitman's Quantum Success Coaching Academy life-coaching course I just completed was a segment on FutureVisioning™, created by Ti Caine. We spent five weeks doing exercises and meditations exploring our futures and connecting with our future selves and it was incredibly powerful.

It was such a cool experience to envision an older, wiser version of myself who had achieved her goals, was living a joyous life, and had messages of encouragement, love and support for me.

A few weeks ago Ti Caine was a guest speaker on one of our last calls in the course and the impact of his words about our relationship to our futures felt electrifying. I just knew I wanted to work with him. Before the call was even finished I was logging onto his website and contacting him.

(The fact that he lives just three miles away from me here in Sherman Oaks seemed like serendipitous icing on my spiritual quest cake.)

When I knocked on the door of his office, I was greeted with a hearty welcome and a big smile from this tall, warm man. Ti has a boyish grin that lights up his face, crinkles his eyes and is so infectious I found myself beaming every time he did.

Although successful in film and video production and sales, Ti realized his true passion lay in spiritual work. He has spent 30 years exploring consciousness, success, growth and personal empowerment and has helped thousands as a hypnotherapist, healer and coach.

"I was particularly fascinated by Victor Frankl's work in Man's Search for Meaning," Ti told me. "What he discovered in observing human behavior in concentration camps was that those who survived had a vision of the future."

"Frankl said, 'The prisoner who had lost faith in the future—his future—was doomed. With his loss of belief in the future, he also lost his spiritual hold…any attempt to restore a man's inner strength in the camp had first to succeed in showing him some future goal.'"

Ti's work differs from therapy in that instead of just focusing on the past and problem solving, his FutureVisioning™ process enables his clients to tap into the unlimited power and infinite potential of the future. They immediately start moving forward towards solutions and success. This also motivates and empowers them to more quickly release the limitations of the past.

I told Ti that as excited as I was about my future and all the possibilities it held, I was feeling rather clueless about how to get there. I believe deep in my DNA that I deserve a wonderful future, it is on its way, and is in my power to create. But I fall prey to doubts and fears like everyone else about making the right decisions, and some guidance right now would really help.

I am thrilled to get to work with Ti, and it's impossible not to feel the enthusiasm he has for his clients' futures. I'm curious, excited and grateful for another opportunity to learn and grow personally and spiritually. And I'm excited to share my journey with all of you.
